📍Bateman’s 11.1 mile Loop. This route starts at 📍National Trust Batemans, TN19 7DS. Taking the path to the left of Batemans along a concrete path across the River Dudwell then a right at the Water Mill. Follow the path around the pond to the right and through the muddy footpath. Continue on the path straight, past wooden bridges offering routes to the right, entering into fields with tall bordering tree’s past another wooden bridge crossing. Still continuing straight you will reach fields with a rather steep hill. up the hill, cross over the diving board following the path to the next diving board onto Willingford Lane. Crossing the lane into the farmers fields, along the tractor trails and through the bumpy field. Follow the path through the woodlands and down the hill at the rather random gates. The path follows the stream across a bricked bridge and past cottages where you take a left at the diving board and follow the path around the field. Coming out at North Road, Follow the road North East turning left into Woods Corner. Through the field in the corner is 📍Mad Jack Fullers Sugarloaf. Follow the path back to the gate taking a right along the perimeter of Brightling Park, which is privately owned. Not far along the path atop a hill you can view 📍Mad Jack Fullers Rotunda Temple. The path leads through a small farm yard with cows. Follow the path straight where you will reach 📍 Mad Jack Fullers Tower. Take the path back followed by a right continuing along the path 3 and a half miles back to the parking point. 📍Ashdown Forest 8.7 mile Loop. Parking at Shepherds Car park there are multiple paths to take through the forest. Follow my route on my Komoot profile.

📍Pooh Bridge. Parking at Pooh Car Park and follow the trail to Pooh Sticks Bridge.

📍Crowhurst to Battle 11.6 mile Loop. This route starts at 📍St Georges Church, RH7 6LR with free on road parking directly outside the church. Entering the Church grounds and following the path briefly you will arrive at 📍The ancient Yew tree with views of a 13th century manor house ruins, a little further up the path, on the left. Continuing along the church footpath you will exit the church along Forewood Lane. Take a left following the road until you reach the public footpath on the left. Passing the enclosure holding two small horses taking another left into the fields. Through the fields you will reach a stream with different paths to take. Remaining on the same side of the stream I followed the path untill reaching a diving board into 📍RSPB Fore Wood Nature Reserve. Take the wooden bridge, on the left, over the stream following the path straight, veering left and continuing straight where you will reach a small pond. Past the pond take the left footpath through the fields then the second footpath on the right. Follow the path veering to the right, past two fishing lakes untill you reach 📍Lakeside Cafe. Passing the cafe taking the first right at Rosies lake, the path circles round where you will reach a diving board. Once over the diving board follow the path to Powdermill Lane. My route was blocked along this part due to The PowderMills Hotel being closed. Take a right and follow Powdermill Lane for one mile then take the public footpath on the right. Follow this path for one mile through 📍George Meadows and Upper Stumblets, passing the Battle of Hastings wooden statue, then reaching 📍English Heritage 1066 Battle of Hasting. Continuing around the front of the Abbey then along side until reaching 📍St Marys Church on the opposite side of the road. Crossing the road and circling the Churchyard exiting and turning left on Upper Lane. Walk along Upper Lane taking a left turn at Marley Lane following the road for just under one mile before reaching a public footpath on the right into 📍Great Battle Wood. There are multiple route from here. I continued straight, crossing the stream and following the path right then left into 📍Sedlescombe Golf Club. Turn right after the golf course and continue straight untill you reach Hastings Road. Turn right onto Hastings road where you will see 📍The Church of Ascension. Crossing over take a left turn at Telham Lane and then the second left. Follow this road through Bluebell Coppice where you will exit the path along Forewood Lane. Take a left following the lane taking the footpath on the right and across the train station bridge continuing along Station Road back to where I parked the car. 📍Halnaker Hill & windmill Trail, Parking off the A285 at the bust stop on Stane Street where my two mile route began. The route passes through Mill Lane Tree Tunnel up to the Windmill atop Halnaker Hill where you can also find a WW2 pill box and stunning views.

📍Arundel 3.35 mile Loop. Parking on Surrey Street in Arundel my 3 mile loop takes you past Arundel Cathedral, St Nicholas Church, Arundel Castle and gate house and Swanbourne lake to Horne Tower.

📍Nore Folly Loop. Parking on London Road in Arundel my 5 mile loop passes through Slindon Woods to Nore Folly and Rows bat haven barn.

Patcham Windmill and Varncombe Loop. Parking at BN1 8YR along Waterhall Road crossing under the A27 into Coney Woods and the site of the hollow tree and Patcham tunnel. Following the woodlands path to the right will take you to view the windmill and through Green Ridge. To follow my full route go to my Komoot profile:
